Description
Sometimes meatballs are fried because we are asked to cook them that way. Chicken meatballs are a lighter, healthier version. Burgers from turkey leftovers are also an alternative.
Ingredients
Scale
- 500 gr. minced chicken legs
- 1 tbsp. yoghurt
- 1 tbsp. yellow mustard
- 4 tbsp. chopped parsley or mint
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 small onion
- salt, freshly ground pepper
- 2 tbsp. wholewheat bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup olive oil
Instructions
- Put half the onion in the blender and chop finely.
- Mix all the ingredients except the olive oil in a large bowl.
- Refrigerate for 30 ‘.
- Shape small walnut-sized meatballs. There will be about 16 meatballs.
- In a 26-28 cm pan, heat the oil over medium to high heat.
- Add the meatballs without flour and leave for 5 ‘.
- Then shake the pan to brown meatballs on all sides.
- Turn them on the other side and fry for another 3 ‘.
Notes
Cook’s Tip
Make sure the pan is not too wide so that the oil is enough for frying.
Doctor’s Tip
Olive oil is healthier than other frying oils. Its only downside is that its more expensive.
